Artelye Marble & Granite warrants that all custom fabricated marble, granite, quartz and other stone products (“Products”) will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original installation (the “Warranty Period”). This includes any defects in workmanship such as seam separation due to normal settling. During the Warranty Period, Artelye Marble & Granite will repair or replace, at its own discretion, products found to be defective. Products are warranted only to our direct customers and no warranty is extended to a third party. This warranty is not transferrable.
Warranty Limitations
Granite, marble and other stone products are natural products, many of which are crystalline in structure. Natural fissures are not structural defects. As a natural product, granite, marble and stone products are also porous, which may cause dark spots and discolorations. These characteristics enhance the natural beauty of the stone and do not impair the durability of the product.
Artelye Marble & Granite expressly excludes from this Warranty any discolorations, stains, dark spots or fissures which are naturally occurring in the Products.
This warranty will not cover damage caused by physical, chemical, or other abuse, normal wear and tear, chips or scratches.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care and cleaning of your stone surface will preserve the beauty of your countertop. Your Product receives a sealant application prior to installation and customers are advised to seal their Product once a year.
Other Terms
This warranty does not cover commercial installations including, but not limited to, stores, offices or other places of business. Exterior installations are exposed to unpredictable weather conditions, such as excessive heat and cold, and are therefore excluded from the Warranty. Artelye Marble & Granite will not be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages or lost profits and under no circumstances will Artelye Marble & Granite liability for defective goods exceed the invoice price of such goods.
Artelye Marble & Granite is not responsible for damage or injury caused in whole or in part by acts of nature or job site conditions, architectural and engineering design, acts of vandalism or accidents, settling or structural movement. Artelye Marble & Granite in whole or in part will not cover any plumbing disconnects or reconnects from cook tops, sinks or faucets associated with the installation and therefore will not pay for these services during installation or due to necessity at time of repair.
Artelye Marble & Granite’s obligation under the warranty is limited solely to repair or replace any area of installation of the Product, excluding plumbing and electrical, and is solely at Artelye Marble & Granite’s discretion.
Artelye Marble & Granite makes no other warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, with respect to its service or granite products contained in this document.
The bearer of this warranty accepts the professional decision of Artelye Marble & Granite and is deemed final in any warranty matter.
