For general day to day cleaning, use a combination of neutral cleaning agent, such as anti-bacterial dishwashing detergent and water, or purchase one of the widely available stone cleaning products. Avoid streaks and dullness, by buffing off the wet surface with a dry cloth.
DO NOT use acidic, abrasive, wax or bleach based household cleaners and sprays on either marble or granite.
Unless a lifetime sealant such as Artelye’s proprietary “StoneAssure™ 20 yr warranty service has been performed, Granite and Marble countertops should be sealed three times after initial installation. Sealing the stone will reduce the risk of penetration into the stone by any caustic or staining agent. Our professional installation team will seal the stone immediately after install, and homeowners are advised to repeat the process, 12 and 24 months after this anniversary.
