Room & Board Store, 14th St NW, Washington DC

Artelye Marble & Granite has just successfully completed participation in the build out of 36,000 square feet and four levels of showroom including a newly constructed modern fourth floor space with spectacular views of Washington, D.C. The structure was built in 1919 and restored to preserve its historical significance. The building, known as the R. L. Taylor Building, was originally a Ford Motors showroom that assembled and sold Model T cars. The installations include a granite store facades and flamed granite entry way, extensive tile and vanity installation, fireplaces and wall veneers.

Artelye completed the project on behalf of McCullough Construction LLC.

AVERA STATION, Fairfax County, VA

Artelye Marble & Granite successfully installed absolute black granite kitchen and bathroom vanity tops in 285 residential condo units. The final contract award was in excess of $715,000 and was completed in July 2008.

Avera Station is a new construction project completed for Beazer Homes Corp.

The Avera Station project includes the construction of three connected, four story wood frame condominium buildings, containing 250 total units, all situated over a 2-story below grade, 188,000 SF cast-in-place concrete parking structure (400 spaces).

RHODES HILL, Arlington, VA

Artelye Marble & Granite successfully installed New Venetian Gold, Santa Cecilia and Tan Brown kitchen and bathroom vanity tops in 89 luxury condominium units. The final contract award was in excess of $335,000 and was completed by the end of 2009.

Rhodes Hill is a $35 million new construction project located in the Clarendon section of Arlington VA, near the Iwo Jima Memorial and completed on behalf of Waterford Arlington LLC.

Units range in size from 1,100 SF to over 2,000 SF with an average retail value of $1,000,000. This development consists of three wood framed 4 story buildings over concrete underground parking garages. 87% of the units are two stories with either private rooftop decks or on grade terraces.

THE RESERVE AT TYSONS CORNER, Tysons Corner, VA

Artelye successfully installed kitchen countertops throughout this luxury residential development. The Tyson’s Reserve Project includes the construction of eight connected, four story wood frame apartment buildings, containing 267 total units, all situated over a 2-story below grade, 180,000 SF cast-in-place concrete, 444 space, parking structure. A total contract award of over $660,000, the scope of work was completed in Nov 2009.

ANNAPOLIS TOWNE CENTRE, Annapolis Maryland

Artelye Marble & Granite successfully completed this project awarded by Bozzuto Construction Co, LLC for the installation of replacement ceramic tile throughout the Mall flooring area. Completed in May 2009, the final project award was in excess of $474,000.


THE CAMERON, Silver Spring, MD

Completed in November 2009, Artelye installed kitchen countertops in 274 residential condos and installed3200sqft of exterior granite facades on north and south elevations of the building.

The Cameron was awarded by Fairfield Development LP to Artelye with a final project commitment of over $760,000.

20F ST NW

20 F Street is located on one of the last prime sites in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Artelye Marble & Granite completed in January 2010 for Bovis Lend and Lease. The project incorporated the installation of natural facades inside the main lobby. Approximately 3000 sq ft of Marble was used to complete the project, with countertops being installed on the front desk, men’s and women’s restrooms. The final contract award was in the region of 130 K.

Current Project to be completed

Potomac Yards Marriott Renaissance & Residence Inn Alexandria, Virginia

Artelye is very proud to announce its participation in this prestigious dual hotel development being built by Whiting-Turner for Marriott International. Artelye will be the sub contractor responsible for the installation of all tile and granite countertops in bathrooms and kitchenettes in over 600 rooms as well as tile installation in all common areas. The current project award is an impressive $3.1 million and completion is targeted for May 2010.

This two hotel project is over shared conference, amenity, and ground floor lobby levels of approximately 470,000 SF in twelve stories above grade, and two levels of below grade parking of approximately 152,000 SF.
